Usages for Wedge Anchors
Wedge anchors are used to permanently attach structural steel base plates, equipment pads, concrete formwork, safety barriers, handrails, and mechanical system supports to poured concrete. They are installed by drilling a hole to the specified diameter and embedment depth, inserting the anchor, and tightening the nut to expand the wedge clip against the hole wall, developing full tension and shear load capacity. Wedge anchors are evaluated to ICC-ES acceptance criteria and are available with seismic and wind uplift load ratings.
Wedge Anchors for all Industries
Wedge anchors are used across commercial and industrial construction, structural and civil engineering, equipment manufacturing and installation, infrastructure maintenance, and mechanical and electrical contracting. Structural engineers, contractors, and maintenance teams specify wedge anchors when a high-strength, permanent concrete anchorage is required. Blue Ribbon Fastener provides wedge anchors with the dimensional range, material options, and load data documentation that engineering and procurement teams require.
