The Challenge
A manufacturer of technical rescue equipment including forcible entry tools and structural shoring systems needed to improve VMI service levels after their incumbent VMI provider got bought out. They were in search of a better solution to keep critical parts stocked.
The Solution
BRF proposed a virtual VMI program: an asset-light solution in which BRF manages and optimizes inventory remotely while the client's employees scan and handle physical bins.
The Results
The manufacturer achieved greater efficiency compared to their previous traditional VMI solution and gained more control over their inventory.COST SAVINGS
