Entry-Level Account Executive

Our sales team is looking for someone who is talented, hungry, and self-motivated to help generate and qualify leads, convert leads into customers, grow relationships, and solidify Blue Ribbon Fastener’s place in our customers’ fastener supply chains.

In this role, you’ll be hyper-focused on scaling our team, growing our customer base, generating new revenue streams, and improving our onboarding processes. You must work well with our marketing, customer success, and operations functions to deliver on our objectives.

Please note: this role is hybrid, however most of the time will be on site. Currently, team members are working 4 days on site, 1 day off site. You will be fully on site until training is completed.

As an Account Executive, You’ll:

  • Identify, qualify, pitch, close, onboard, service and grow marketing leads into mid-market accounts.

  • Re-engage, onboard, service and grow ‘dead’ leads and ‘dormant’ accounts.

  • Enter orders quickly, solve problems proactively and independently, and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Provide high-quality and professional customer service

  • Work with operations and customer success teams to provide excellent customer service, acting as main point of contact for all client inquiries.

  • Deploy cutting-edge best practices in sales and marketing in an ‘old school’ industry.

  • Play a critical role in Blue Ribbon’s growth story into industry leading Fastener Distributor.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience with outbound lead generation through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.

  • Be able to understand our ideal client profile to quickly qualify or unqualify leads.

  • Be comfortable probing for problem areas in a lead’s supply chain while pitching solutions.

  • Be able to identify what is most important to your lead or customer (quality, price, lead time, country of origin, documentation through the supply chain, etc.) and source products accordingly

  • Build rapport with customers, gaining a strong understanding of their supply chain and fastener requirements.

  • Always strive to find the best parts for the most competitive prices and respond to quotes faster than the competition.

  • Be a team player, learn quickly, and collaborate well with others.

  • Be independent and responsible; able to organize and manage yourself and self-report on your outputs

  • Balance short and long-term thinking to sustain excellence over years.

  • Have the mindset that you will absolutely blow your quota out of the water; you are extremely hungry to deliver, very comfortable being measured against clear metrics, and are results oriented.

  • Are innately curious, enjoy solving problems, easily build new relationships, coachable, energetic, and want to be part of something special

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Google Sheets and Google Docs.

  • Bachelor's Degree
